McKenzie’s Baking Powder is an effective action raising agent developed to give baked goods a lift.
Original Ward’s Formula
Do not be tempted to add more baking powder than a recipe suggests! Too much can cause the mixture to taste bitter and can also cause the mixture to rise too rapidly and then deflate.
To make self raising flour, mix two teaspoons of McKenzie’s Baking Powder to each cup of plain flour then sift several times.
